Instalco part of billion order

Instalco has been given the opportunity to participate in a billion project through its two subsidiaries Ohmegi and Rörgruppen, when Södersjukhuset (hospital in Stockholm) is expanding its premises. During the summer of 2015, NCC was commissioned by Locum to expand Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. A new treatment facility and a new building for technical support will be constructed.

"The new emergency room is an important part of the future health care plan of Stockholm County, where all inhabitants should know that they are getting the right care on time. We continue our good cooperation with NCC in this big and important project, "says Paul Lindquist (M), Chairman of the Board, Locum.

The order value for Instalco's subsidiaries, Ohmegi and Rörgruppen, is approximately SEK 250 million. The order concerns installation of new production for two buildings totaling 39,000 sqm.

The first building, Building 70, will contain new surgery rooms, a sterile centre and autopsy. The second building, Building 74, will accommodate the hospital's operational functions, such as a garbage centre, goods reception and backup sources. The new hospital buildings are expected to be completed by the year-end of 2018/2019. When the emergency room opens in 2019, it will according to Locum be Sweden's largest emergency room.
