A new business area

In 2020, Instalco launched the Business Area Technical Consulting with the subsidiary Intec as its central actor. Intec was created through Instalco’s start-up model, where the company's current CEO and founder Anders Lundin together with Instalco had a common ambition to bring the work concerning project planning closer to the installation industry in order to reach the customer at an earlier stage and to offer a broader product to even more customers. Using Instalco’s network and financial resources, Intec has managed to establish itself in 27 locations in Sweden in just a few years, and now Intec is also present in Norway and Finland.

"Core to Intec is its decentralised identity with short decision-making paths and closeness between the employees and the management team, exactly the same identity that Instalco is based on. My view is that the decentralised identity has been very successful for both us and other companies that have been established through Instalco’s start-up model," says Anders Lundin.
