Instalco completes minority investment in Germany’s Fabri AG

Instalco has finalized its acquisition of a 24 percent minority stake in the German installation group Fabri AG, marking an important step in its expansion into one of Europe’s largest installation markets.

Since the agreement was signed in November 2024, Fabri has continued to grow through two company acquisitions. Haberstock GmbH & Co KG in Peiting in the Bavarian region is a plumbing company with around 20 employees. The company has more than 50 years on the market and offers services from consulting and project design to installation. The plumbing company Josef Michels Haustechnik GmbH in Münster in the North Rhine-Westphalia region has around 25 employees. The company specialises in cooling, heating, water, sanitation and ventilation in buildings.

Together, these companies add EUR 10.6 million in net sales and strengthen Fabris' expertise in heating, plumbing, ventilation and building technology. The management of both acquired companies will remain in their positions after joining Fabri.

“Fabri has demonstrated impressive momentum, and we’re excited to be part of their journey. Their growth confirms our belief that this partnership will be a strong platform for Instalco’s future in Germany,” says Robin Boheman, CEO of Instalco.

The partnership is based on shared values and a decentralized model that empowers local expertise. By joining forces, Instalco and Fabri are well-positioned to drive further growth and deliver high-quality installation services across Germany.
