Three Instalco companies contracted for joint assignment in Oslo
Three Instalco companies have been contracted for a joint assignment involving the design and installation of the heating & plumbing, ventilation and cooling systems at Norway’s oldest bakery, Baker Hansen, in Oslo.
Instalco’s Norwegian subsidiary, Klimateknikk Oslo AS, has the contract with the end customer Aas & Nordal AS. The other Instalco subsidiaries involved in the project are Vito Teknisk Entreprenør AS and Istech AS. The total order value for Instalco is approximately SEK 30 million.
“This is an excellent example of how collaboration between our Norwegian companies is developing and it enables us to deliver a comprehensive and appealing offering that aligns with customer requirements and upholds high quality standards,” says Kjetil Bjerkland, Business Area Manager for Instalco Norway East.
Baker Hansen was established in 1861, making it Norway’s oldest bakery. The bakery at Grini Næringspark will now be increasing its capacity with larger premises for gluten-free baking, new warehouses, production facilities and a factory store. The Instalco companies participating in the project will deliver a ventilation system specially adapted for baking ovens and industrial dishwashing; the heating, plumbing and cooling systems; and the automation installations.
The project is already underway and it will be completed during spring 2026. The goal is to certify the project as a Sustainable Instalco Project.
