Instalco acquires Processus

Instalco grows stronger in the industrial segments via the acquisition of Processus AB. Processus is an engineering firm specialised in project management, process design, automation and industrial IT.

The company was founded in 2015 and it currently has 65 employees, serving clients in southern and central Sweden. For the most recent financial year, its sales were SEK 193 million. Processus primarily focuses on four segments: pharmaceutical, food, energy and industry and it has offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg and Malmö.

“We are very happy to be taking Processus on board. It is a well-organized, growing company with a motivated and dedicated leadership team that has the right Instalco spirit. The company is strong in the pharmaceutical industry, which opens up opportunities for expansion into a new area for us,” says Johan Larsson, Head of Division for Instalco North.

Several Instalco companies, including Teampipe and Liab have already been collaborating with Processus for some time. It has established a leading position for consulting to the pharmaceutical industry, offering everything from feasibility studies and project management to complete installation and commissioning of facilities.

“We are very enthusiastic about continuing our journey and growing as part of Instalco. It offers us the chance to take the next steps in our development and we can see that there are many opportunities for synergies with the other Instalco companies. It also feels exciting to be a part of enabling Instalco to branch out into the pharmaceutical industry,” says Johan Teodorsson, CEO of Processus.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Processus AB as of 23 March 2023.
