Instalco expands in southern Sweden

Instalco continues its expansion in southern Sweden through the acquisition of Rörman i Svedala AB. Rörman is based in Svedala outside Malmö and is primarily active in heating and plumbing.

Through the acquisition, Instalco strengthens its position within the heating and plumbing area in Skåne county, where the group’s subsidiary Rörläggaren also is located.

Rörman was founded in 1979 and currently has 15 employees. Among its services, the company offers installations of geothermal heat pumps, air/water heat pumps and boilers. For the 2017/18 financial year, net sales amounted to approximately SEK 30 million.

“With Rörman, we strengthen our operations in Instalco’s business area South. Rörman is a great addition to our companies in the region, where we now also increase our capacity in service. The company has exhibited stable and strong profitability for many years”, says Patrik Persson, Business Area Manager of Instalco South.

Among Rörman’s customers are Svedala Municipality, Sandvik, City of Malmö and several local construction companies and HSB housing cooperatives.

The company’s two founders will remain in the business and continue to work in their respective roles.

“We have a broad skillset within our area of expertise but are also specialists. Now, we look forward to the next step for Rörman by becoming a part of Instalco, providing us with many business and development opportunities”, says Thore Gustafsson, CEO of Rörman.

Instalco acquires 100% of Rörman i Svedala AB with completion today 1 October.
