Instalco expands it offering to the mining industry

Instalco is expanding its offering in the Industrial area via the acquisition of MRM Mining AB and EPS Sweden AB in Gällivare. MRM Mining AB offers services to the mining industry and EPS Sweden AB offers technical maintenance work in the Arctic region.

For the most recent financial year the combined annual sales of these two companies were approximately SEK 75 million.

“We are breaking new ground with the acquisition of MRM Mining and EPS Sweden by expanding into a new, interesting market for us in the northernmost region of Sweden. It will enable us to offer services in the infrastructure area and the growing market in the north,” says Robin Boheman, CEO at Instalco.

MRM Mining is a full-range supplier of industrial services such as installation and service with the mining industry as its main market. Some of its major customers are ABB, Boliden, LKAB and Vattenfall. EPS Sweden specializes in technical maintenance work in demanding environments and the company collaborates with electricity distribution companies, railways and traffic authorities, among others. Its customer base consists of, for example, PEAB, Boliden, ELTEL, LKAB and Vattenfall.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in MRM Mining AB and EPS Sweden AB, as of 17 November 2021.
