Instalco has acquired Sähkö-Buumi Oy, thereby strengthening its position as a provider of electrical installations in Finland.
Sähkö-Buumi is an electrical installation company founded in 1992 and based in Helsinki. The company specialises in electrical installation work in conjunction with apartment renovations. For the 2017 business year, sales were approximately SEK 34 million.
“Sähkö-Buumi is a reputable provider of electrical installations in Finland and it has already been collaborating with the Instalco company, LVI-Paavola, on several projects. The acquisition further strengthens our offering in the Helsinki region,” says Robin Boheman, Business Area Manager for Instalco Finland.
The company currently has around 25 employees and besides renovation work, it also focuses on energy efficiency improvements, automation installations and service.
“Becoming a part of Instalco is very exciting and it feels like the natural next step for us in developing the business. We look forward to working with the other Instalco companies,” says Sami Vanhamäki, CEO of Sähku-Buumi Oy.
Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Sähkö-Buumi Oy as of 30 November 2018.
