Two Instalco companies win contracts for work at Solna Strand

The Instalco companies, VVS Kraft and VVS-Metoder have won contracts to participate in the renovation project at the block of buildings Nöten 5 in Solna Strand, Stockholm. They will be working on renovation of 35,000 sq. m. of office space.

VVS Kraft and VVS-Metoder have been contracted by Zengun on behalf of their end client, Vasakronan. The combined order value amounts to approximately SEK 40 million.

The property called Nöten 5 is an office property that was built in 1986. It is now being converted and modernized. The work encompasses three buildings that will be renovated and connected via a structure that will be made of glass. A modern shared space will be built between the buildings on the side facing the water. The intention is to seek LEED green building certification for the property at the Gold rating level.

“This project involves total renovation of several buildings, along with construction of a new structure where we have been contracted for comprehensive pipe installations. We are collaborating on the work with our fellow subsidiary, VVS-Metoder. We're looking forward to this assignment with Zengun on behalf of its end client, Vasakronan,” says Ola Klockarås, CEO of VVS Kraft.

Instalco has had several assignments at Solna Strand (both ongoing and completed) in conjunction with its transformation from an industrial area to a modern office park.
