Instalco acquires MR Rör

Instalco continues to grow within heating and plumbing in Stockholm through the acquisition of MR Rör i Storstockholm AB. The company’s main focus is to work with municipalities and municipal property companies in framework agreements.

MR Rör offers installations and service in heating, cooling and plumbing. For the 2019 financial year, the company reported sales of approximately SEK 35 million.

“The acquisition of MR Rör makes us even stronger in the heating and plumbing area in the Stockholm region. MR Rör is specialised towards governmental and municipal companies and has a strong offering in service, which is in line with Instalco’s long-term strategy to grown within the service area”, says Tobias Eriksson, Business Area Manager for Instalco East.

MR Rör is active in Stockholm and surrounding regions, and some of its largest customers are Sollentuna Municipality, Värmdö Municipality, Veidekke Entreprenad AB, Nynäshamns bostäder and Stockholmshem. The company has 13 employees.

MR Rör was established in 2004 by Martin Edvinsson, who today is the company’s CEO and owner together with Niklas Jansson. Both will remain in their positions at MR Rör.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in MR Rör i Storstockholm AB as of 8 September 2020.
