Instalco acquires prestigious Lidingö Elektriska

Instalco is growing its electrical business area in Stockholm via the acquisition of Lidingö Elektriska AB, which was founded in 1933. The new addition strengthens the service offering to the Stockholm area.

Lidingö Elektriska is a prestigious family-owned company that started up in the 1920s and has been run under the name of Lidingö Elektriska since 1933. The company has 16 employees and a very strong local brand. For the most recent financial year, it reported sales of SEK 27 million.

“Lidingö Elektriska is a small, owner-operated electrical company that has an extremely good reputation in the local market and is a leader for service of electrical installations. In Stockholm, Instalco has had a strong position in electrical installations for quite some time and Lidingö Elektriska is an excellent addition,” says Tobias Eriksson, Business Area Manager for Instalco Stockholm.

The company is specialized in electrical installations, lighting, heating, floor heating and charging stations for companies and organizations in both the public and private sectors, as well as individuals.

“We’re looking forward to joining the Instalco Group, with the synergies and opportunities it will offer. We will still be able to maintain our identity, culture and brand however, which is important to us,” says Christina Sevebo, CEO at Lidingö Elektriska.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Lidingö Elektriska AB as of 17 December.
