Instalco grows in Finland (2)

Instalco is acquiring the electrical installation company, Kyrön Sähkö Oy. It is domiciled in Kyrö, which is near Åbo. The company has around 50 employees and its annual sales are approximately SEK 77 million.

Kyrön Sähkö is a full-service company in the electricity sector, specialized in installations for the lumber and sawmill industry, as well as installations for power and heating plants. It primarily serves customers in Finland and Sweden, but also has some customers outside the Nordic region.

“Kyrön Sähkö is a well-run, profitable company with a very interesting industrial niche which complements our offering in Finland well. The acquisition is in line with our strategy of growing the business in the Other Nordic business area,” says Sami Vanhamäki, Business Area Manager for Instalco Finland.

The company’s four owners with remain in their current positions and continue running the company.

“We’re looking forward to becoming a part of Instalco Finland and helping expand the team. This will be a natural next step for continuing to develop our company,” says Aleksi Siikarla, CEO at Kyrön Sähkö. 

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Kyrön Sähkö Oy as of 2 February 2022.
