Acquisition of TC-Kraft and Z-Signaler

Instalco acquires TC-Kraft AB and its subsidiary, Z-Signaler AB, both of which have their head office in Östersund. Their combined sales for the most recent financial year were SEK 50 million.

“TC-Kraft and Z-Signaler are each niche companies with an excellent reputation that are a great fit with Instalco. Adding them to the Group enables us to grow in the very interesting niche of street lighting and traffic signals. It also strengthens our presence around Östersund, which is important to us,” says Johan Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco North.

TC-Kraft was founded in 2010 and has 25 employees. It primarily works with companies in the areas of installation of high and low voltage, street lighting, hydroelectric power and electricity meter maintenance. It is also active on a smaller scale in the private market via its electrical supplies store in Hammarstrand.

Z-Signaler has six employees, and it offers traffic technology solutions throughout Sweden. The company was founded in 1993 and in 2019, it was acquired by TC-Kraft. It is specialized in installation of traffic signal systems, street lighting, weather stations, traffic metering systems and traffic signs.

“We are looking forward to joining the Instalco Group and taking the next steps with our companies. It’s also very exciting to be adding the new niche installation of traffic signals to Instalco,” says Tobias Östlin, CEO at TC-Kraft.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in TC-Kraft AB and Z-Signaler AB as of 12 January.
