Instalco company wins assignment for the the expansion of SSAB's facility at Brahestad

The Instalco subsidiary, Pohjanmaan Talotekniikka Oy in Uleåborg, has signed an agreement for the technical installations in conjunction with SSAB expanding its facilities at Brahestad in North Ostrobothnia in Finland. The work will be done during 2023 and the order value is approximately SEK 50 million.

It involves installation of the heating, plumbing and ventilation systems for the construction company, Skarta Finland Ltd on behalf of the end customer, SSAB.

SSAB’s steel plant in Brahestad, on the northern coast of the Gulf of Bothnia will be expanded with new research and laboratory facilities and office space. The new buildings will replace the older laboratory facilities and offices. The new construction will total approximately 8,000 square metres, where approximately 100 people will work.
