Instalco continues its expansion along the northern coast of Sweden

Instalco is acquiring Kempes El AB in Kramfors and thereby continuing its expansion along the northern coast of Sweden. The company was established in 1931 and its annual sales are approximately SEK 85 million.

Kempes El is a prestigious electrical installation company in Västernorrland County with a focus on project planning and installation of electrical systems for industrial, retail, and residential properties. The company has 66 employees.

With this acquisition, we strengthen our presence in Västernorrland and Västerbotten even more, together with our companies in that region. We are very happy to welcome Kempes El to the Group and it is an excellent fit with our other companies,” says Johan Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco North.

The company’s head office is in Kramfors and they also have local offices in Härnösand, Sollefteå, Sundsvall and Sävar, near Umeå. The main focus of the business is project planning and installation of electrical, data and telecommunication systems, fiber, fire & intrusion alarm systems and industrial service.

Kempes El was formally established in 1931, but its activities date back even further, to the beginning of the century. The company formation in 1931 was a direct continuation of an electrical installation company founded in Härnösand in 1918.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Kempes El AB as of 24 February 2021.
