The Instalco company, Ohmegi, has been contracted to participate in the construction of Skanska’s new office buildings, Sthlm 01 and Sthlm 04 at Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm.

Ohmegi will do the electrical work for the Sthlm New project that involves both of these new buildings. The order value is SEK 60 million.

The property called Sthlm 01 will be a 27-story building and it will primarily consist of office space. Sthlm 04 will be a 12-story building with a garage and space for mechanical and electronic devices. The total area is approximately 35,000 sq. m.

The office buildings are part of Skanska’s investment at the Hammarby Sjöstad office park, Sthlm New Creative Business Spaces. Once completed, it will offer 6,000 workplaces. Sthlm 01 will be an iconic addition to the Stockholm skyline, as one of the city’s tallest buildings.

“This project, involving construction of a new, 100-metre-tall building will become a new landmark in Stockholm. We’re very proud to have been awarded the contract for electrical installation work on one of Skanska’s most prestigious projects,” says Fredrik Ifwer, CEO at Ohmegi.

Ohmegi will begin the installation work for the Sthlm New project at the start of 2019 and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
