Instalco now represented in Örnsköldsvik

Instalco is strengthening its position along the northern coast of Sweden via the acquisition of a group of companies consisting of Inlands Luft AB, Keyvent AB and Melins Plåtslageri AB. They serve customers in and around Örnsköldsvik, primarily in the areas of ventilation, heating & plumbing.

Together, the companies have 35 employees and their combined sales during the most recent financial year were approximately SEK 93 million.

“I’m very happy that we’re now flying the Instalco flag in Örnsköldsvik, which is a part of map where we weren’t previously represented. This group of companies is a very nice fit with the rest of the Instalco Group, and it will generate opportunities for new synergies,” says Johan Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco North and Industrial.

Inlands, Keyvent and Melins have collaborated with several of the other Instalco companies in the past, including Orab, Miljöventilation and Kempes El. Collaboration, best practice and cross-selling between companies are cornerstones of the Instalco business model.

Inlands was founded in 2006 and it works with ventilation, heating & plumbing solutions. Melins was founded in 1955 with operations in sheet metal processing and manufacturing of ventilation products. Keyvent was founded in 1994 at it offers turnkey solutions for industrial heating, plumbing and ventilation systems.

“For us, joining Instalco is a huge opportunity for taking our companies to the next level via the collaboration that goes on within the Group. We’re also looking forward to being a part of growing the business along the northern coast of Sweden,” says Leif Wallrud, CEO of Inlands Luft och Keyvent.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Inlands Luft AB, Keyvent AB and Melins Plåtslageri AB as of 1 July.
