Instalco wins contract to deliver electric power system to Mora Hospital

The Instalco company, EKTK, has won a contract for installation of the electric power system in conjunction with the expansion of Mora Hospital. The work will be carried out as part of a collaboration project and the total order value is approximately SEK 46 million.

Mora Hospital is being expanded with new facilities for its healthcare clinic and rehabilitation, along with new offices and a new main entrance. A new receiving station will also be built, including a reserve power plant.

EKTK has been contracted for the project planning, delivery and installation of the electric power system. The client is ByggDialog, working on behalf of the end client, Regionfastigheter Dalarna. The work will be completed in 2023.

“This is a major, important project not only for us, but the entire healthcare system in Dalarna. Together with the customer, we will plan and design the entire electric power system along with complete delivery and installation,” says Joakim Ihrfors, CEO of EKTK.

The Mora healthcare clinic is currently one of the largest in Sweden. Two years ago, Region Dalarna decided to undertake a major project at Mora Hospital, by converting and expanding the facilities in order to offer modern care in the region.
